Bitumino the Drinker, a petty god of potions for old school roleplaying games

Inspired by Orbital Crypt's Small Gods, inspired by Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. Which I'm a little addicted to at the moment, though I myself only seem to worship Gozag, Trog, or Xom.

The neutral petty god of potions, revels, and bloating. Skinny-limbed Bitumino appears a little imp or goblin with a distended belly, a sloshing drinking-vessel, and a trickle of some liquid on its pleased face.

Bitumino's altars often look like petrified gourds, clay pots, or flasks. In a dungeon, they are usually near to a magic fountain or cache of potions.

Bitumino favors and protects drunkards, babies, and adventurers, all of whom are likely to drink something they shouldn't. Ironically, Bitumino's patronage pushes its followers to sample ever stranger drinks.

Bitumino belches approvingly at any of the pious acts below:

Passive: If you have sipped a liquid before, you may identify it immediately thereafter so long as you can see, smell, or taste it.

Piety accrued can be spent on the following boons:

2 piety: You make a save arising from ingesting something at +4.

3 piety: Bitumino refills your water reserves or leaves a random potion in your pack.

4 piety: The effects of a potion or other potable lasts twice as long.

5 piety: If you would die from an ingested substance or effect, make a new Save vs death. If you save, go to 1 HP and get a mutation.
