OD&D Hex: Settlement, Village, Grasslands - Red and White Yurt
A single yurt hunkered down in the midst of the plains. Five horses hitched, grazing idly on grasses that wave around the yurt like a river around a stone.
Borys, a former steppe wolf and lately a tired old man, resides here with his four daughters of eligible age. They are on their way to join another clan, where all four are betrothed. They carry a modest dowry of 800gp for the girls in a locked chest. The riches are some coin, but largely trinkets, jewelry, and fine housewares of precious metal and porcelain.
Daughters in order of age with defining trait:
- Halide, kind
- Assel, spirited
- Farah, shy
- Oyuun, silly
Assel is keen to avoid the arranged marriage, dreaming of an independent life and magic swords. In the night, she will slip out of the tent and offer to join any successful-looking warriors. She brings a riding horse, a steppe saber (medium damage, can attack twice when moving full speed in a straight line on horseback), a shortbow, and her share of the dowry, and is considered a fighter of 1st level. She is her fatherβs daughter through and through.
The father and his girls fight as nomads. Borys does not check morale when defending his children.
